Study trips
You will have the chance to go to Geneva, Switzerland, and Brussels, in Belgium. Finally, students in the Food Politics will benefit from additional study trips, including Rungis International Market, the Paris International Agricultural Show, and other farm visits and local food initiatives.
Professional training courses and internships
Your last semester involves a 3 month-long internship. As interns, ESPOL Master’s students held different positions, campaign manager, international development officer, or project assistant for important Political and International Affairs organizations.

Master’s in Digital Politics and Governance
You will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to master and design complex and innovative digital policy solutions and to occupy key professional positions in public and private organisations.
Master’s in Food Politics and Sustainable Development
This unique training programme in France, allows you to gain a better understanding of the issues related to the politics of food and farming, the regulation of agriculture, food distribution, public health, environment and sustainable development
Master’s in Global and European Politics
You will gain knowledge of the formal and informal rules of European affairs and of the conflicts that shape them, but also the necessary know-how to understand and act upon European politics.
Master’s in International and Security Politics
You will focus on key international security issues generated by armed conflict, terrorism, climate change and transnational migration across the world. As well as expertise for analyzing contemporary forms of conflicts and hostility, locally as well as globally.
Grant
The Student Excellence Grants typically range from 1000€ to 2000€ and are allocated based on the following criteria:
Your degree of academic excellence, demonstrated by your previous academic records
Your motivation and the suitability of your professional project with regard to the master’s degree
Housing assistance
You can apply for housing benefit (APL) from La CAF as soon as you become a tenant. This aid helps to finance part of your rent. It is adapted according to the amount of rent, your income and your family situation. You can find more information on La CAF website.

I came to ESPOL thanks to my final year ES teacher who told me about this school.
Before coming to Lille, I was in Mexico, my parents being expatriates, I travelled a lot. It was important for me to come to a school with many international students and to learn several languages.
Apolline
ESPOL made me go to Austria for a semester, to the UN in Geneva for a study trip, to Brussels in the European institutions. With the student associations of the school we visited NATO in Brussels with ESPOL Défense, played pétanque with Le Cochonnet Espolien, dubbed films with le Petit Lillois, beat Polytechnique in the French debate cup with Révolte-toi ESPOL.

When I see what ESPOL has become today, I am very proud and grateful to have been able to be part of the adventure, to have participated at my modest level in tracing a path for the next ones, and to have met people who are today both friends and real sources of inspiration for me because of their background, their visions and their reflections.
