Entrance Scholarships

Entrance scholarships are awarded to international students on the basis of merit.

All candidates are automatically considered for an entrance scholarship. 

Single Degree Option

The single degree option enables you to earn your Master of International Business degree in 12 months. The program is structured in three stages, and a major team-based project spans all three. The second stage of the program provides an international exchange at one of the more than 50 international business school partners.

Double Degree Option

A double degree option enables you to earn your Master of International Business and a second master’s degree from one of the global double degree partners. While double degree programs have been in existence for many years in Europe, Smith School of Business is among the first in North America to offer them. 

MPOWER Financing

You could be eligible if you are: a

• An undergraduate or graduate student within 2 years of graduating or about to begin a 2 or 1-year program. 

• An international student.

• Admitted to or attending one of the 350 approved schools in the United States or Canada.

Scholarship for black students

$10,000 scholarship is awarded annually to 1 student entering the MIB program. Given to an equity-deserving candidate who self-identifies as Black and demonstrates academic excellence, community involvement, and proven leadership experience.

Scholarships for indigenous students 

$10,000 scholarship is awarded annually to 1 student entering the MIB program. Given to an equity-deserving candidate who is Indigenous-identified and demonstrates academic excellence, community involvement, and proven leadership experience.
