Established in 2008, VILNIUS TECH's Faculty of Creative Industries was the first of its kind in Lithuania. Located in the historic Tiškevičius Palace in Vilnius Old Town, it is a leader in creative industries and communication. The faculty offers a PhD program in Communication and Information since 2021. Students benefit from a Creative Technologies Laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Additionally, the faculty hosts Film and Photography Clubs for students.

The Creative Industries study programme prepares creatives and communicators proficient in the latest information and communication technologies. It can creatively adapt its message to various media: video channels, museums, social networks, blogs, and virtual reality. Communication of Creative Society
The Master's degree programme in Communication of Creative Society is aimed at training professionals capable of applying communication strategies, monitoring, researching, analysing and developing creative activity for the purpose of fostering creative society. The studies provide knowledge about communication in creative society and teach managing creative projects and innovations.
The study programme is focused on expanding the education of the Bachelor of Social Sciences considering the aspects of culture and creativity and on enabling graduates to promote creativity in society.
Professionals in this field manage to form the environmental communication of creativity, offer and implement creative ideas or project activities. The trained specialists systematize and study creativity, art and innovation as well as the impact of these three phenomena on the development of society.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
- manage communication processes in creative activities, analyze media, the creative process and its outcomes; apply knowledge of communication sciences to improve cultural communication;
- research and analyze creative activities and assess their impact on cultural and artistic expression;
develop creative and communication products or projects;
- to shape the communication environment in the creative field, integrating knowledge from different fields to realize innovative ideas oriented towards a creative industries product;
- to organize, develop and improve society's creativity, comprehensively assess the situation, propose innovative solutions, and justify and realize their design concepts.
The aim of the Master's degree programme in Creative Society Communication is to train professionals capable of applying communication strategies, monitoring, researching, analyzing and developing creative activities to foster an innovative society. It provides knowledge of creative communication in society and managing creative projects and innovations.
The programme is designed to broaden the Bachelor of Social Sciences' education in cultural and creative communication, enabling graduates to promote creativity in society.

The creative industries are a promising production field from an economic, social and cultural point of view. My studies have made me realize that all communication is linked to the creative industries and significantly impacts a company's success. Good communication can help avoid misunderstandings, conflicts and wrong decisions that can hurt business results.

- Critically analyze and evaluate communication processes;
- Research marketing and media audiences;
- Apply the potential of information technology and media in the development of communication products and services;
- Organize and execute creative industries projects in business and cultural enterprises and organizations;
- Create text, audio, video, and interactive content for traditional and new media and develop and implement integrated communication campaigns.

The Faculty of Creative Industries successfully cooperates with 68 higher education institutions from 24 European countries. The wide variety of countries opens up opportunities for students to exchange their studies in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Norway, Portugal, France, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Turkey.
VILNIUS TECH offers students the opportunity to study in non-EU countries. Students from the Faculty of Creative Industries have already studied at universities in Korea, Japan, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Peru and Brazil. We are happy to encourage students and provide opportunities for internships in companies and organizations in any European country.
The Faculty also organizes annual short study visits, where students go to European universities for a one-week study exchange.
Suppose you want to study in Lithuania but spend part of your studies at a higher education institution in another country and graduate with a diploma from two higher education institutions. In that case, a double-diploma programme is available at the University of Applied Sciences Kiel in Germany. There are many advantages to studying for a double degree, the most notable of which are the possibility of obtaining higher education diplomas from two different countries during the same period of study, the opportunity to work with internationally experienced teachers, to experience different teaching methodologies, and the possibility of adopting the best practices of several countries and higher education institutions.
